Ghughra — The Centrepiece of Every Gujarati Diwali Table

The crescent-shaped pastry filled with a rich mixture of coconut, dried fruits and nuts is one of the most iconic Diwali sweets in Gujarati cuisine. We make each Ghughra by hand, fill it generously, seal and crimp it in the traditional pattern, and cook it to a perfect golden colour.
